Samsung in an attempt to get over the last year negative media attention over the Samsung Note 7 explosion and to prove its credibility and win the trust of customers once again has reportedly handed out free Galaxy Note 8 smartphones to 200 passengers in a flight operated between Madrid to A Coruna.

Check this pic of elated passengers showing their free giveaway by Samsung.

Free Galaxy Note 8 by Samsung to its Iberia air passengers

We might be well aware of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone catching fire due to battery problems mid air last year. As a result airliners had banned the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from airplanes.Samsung had to called back all its Note 7 model worldwide.

This was a huge embarrassment for the smartphone manufacturing giant and that too in its flagship model department. But this did not deter Samsung to work hard and come up with a latest flagship smartphone called Samsung Galaxy Note8 which it claims is more safe to use as this new device has gone through most extensive safety tests.

In a quest to regain the trust of its customers Samsung came up with a giveaway of Galaxy Note 8 for free to all 200 passengers in domestic flight operated by Iberia.

When the giveaway started people were elated and at the same time confused as they were getting the Samsung latest flagship models which nearly costs $1000 in Spain.

The retail boxes were having a message written on them in Spanish which read as :

"

a year ago we asked you to turn it off,we welcome you today on board".

We can see this video of the Iberia airlines where a happy air hostess is giving away the Samsung Galaxy note 8 retail boxes.

This was indeed a very good promotion from Samsung as it found a unique way to gain the trust which was belittled among the customers last year and a way to define its success.Samsung has definitely found a way to get over its debacle of Galaxy Note 7 but it has set a standard for other smartphone manufacturers too.

Samsung Spain tweeted this in a very emotional and a self motivating way:

"At Samsung, when we fall,we not only rise up-we learn to fly!

Great going Samsung!
