UMANG app-one stop solution to all e-governance services.

The Government of India in its latest push of their Digital India initiative has finally launched an app named as UMANG which will be a driver of e -governance in the country.

PM Narendra Modi has finally fulfilled his promise of launching a one stop solution for availing various government services ranging from central services, state services to local bodies for all the citizens of the country.

UMANG stands for Unified Mobile Application for New Age Governance which was announced in 2016 and was scheduled to launch in December last year.The launching of the app got delayed due to numerous beta tests being conducted on the app by the Ministry Of Electronics & Information Technology.UMANG has now finally seen the light and is available for download on different platforms like Google Play store,Apple Store and Windows Store.

The UMANG app is a platform designed for Indians with an aim to offer them the access of all Pan India e- Government services. It includes all the Central ,State, local bodies and agencies of government on app, web , SMS as well as IVR channels.

The services included in the app ranges from scholarship, healthcare, women safety, e-district, Passport Seva and others ...altogether it provides 100 services of the Center and the State on a single platform. It also gives the users the freedom of selecting their services in 12 different languages.

UMANG app can be downloaded and installed on all the android devices and i OS devices as it is available for download in Android devices and Apple store.It can also be downloaded for the windows platform and this app is free to be downloaded.

The app has been made under the collaboration of Ministry of Electronics And information technology and National E-Governance and has a dedicated customer support working from 8AM to 8PM. If you are not able to search the app in the Play store or Apple store you can simply give a missed call from any of your mobile number to 9718397183 to receive a download link in the SMS.

Once the app is downloaded you can fill in the details like your name ,mobile number etc. You can also link your Aadhar card with the UMANG app. Users have also the option of linking the account with social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Once downloaded and installed and by filling the personal details users are good to go and can browse the services section and can search for the services which you are looking for . Users can search sort and filter the services according to their needs.

This app has an amalgamation of nearly all the services and can also be used for services related to Aadhar and Digilocker and can be used for paying all the utility bills, booking gas cylinder, and all the Provident fund related documents.
